Default How to clean up any or all of the "installed apps and core features for Windows 10"

I wouldn't. Some of them aren't apps, "core" or otherwise, but necessary
elements of the OS. The others are entangled with the OS, a trick MS
uses so that you can't get rid of them without damaging one or more
functionalities of the OS. That's why they aren't on the list of "core
apps" MS will let you remove and/or CCleaner can remove.

I completely understand what you're saying Wolf K, so it's nice you said
it. You know that we all know that already, but it's nice you bothered to
tell us.

You avoid all that hassle by not using Windows.

No. That's "giving up".
Dumb****s "just give up".

Those who can't handle detail, "just give up".
Me?
I never give up.

Why do you think I brick my system so often?
Every time Paul suggest something dangerous, I do it - and brick it!
(Just kidding Paul - if you're out there.)

If you want to "just give up", you buy iOS (that's for nospam to ponder).

You have to keep in mind what my strategic goal is.
Remember the first 60 things that you do after installing Windows 10?

Well, number 500 is this file:
500_uninstall_microsoft_crapware.txt

It's *easy* to NOT do step 50.
But the technorati of us *learn* how to run that step 50.

What we end up with is a *better Windows experience*.
Just like wresting the menus gives us a *better Windows experience*.

But you knew that already, so why am I bothering to tell you? Just my
last remaining "shred of decency" I guess.

I always knew, Wolf K, that you do have a shred of decency.
It's rare for anyone to teach me anything that isn't the QUESTION in the
thread though.

For example, Char Jackson constantly trys to prove to me that he knows
something, but it's ALWAYS not the answer to the question in the thread.

It's like Mayayana telling me a BMP is better than a JPG, even if the
question is how to 'spell JPG".

Char Jackson, to a thread on vi, tells me that NOTEPAD++ is an editor.
Shocker of all shockers. Golly gee whiz. That Char Jackson is a genius.
Yup. He sure 'are' a genius.

My point is that you're not gonna teach me much, unless.... and there's
that unless.

If I bother to *ask* a question, then you can sure as hell *teach me*
something if you *know* the answer to the quesetion.

But almost nobody ever knows teh answers to my questions.
They can only tell me that Notepad++ is a text editor.
Or that BMP files are better than JPG files.
Or, l8ike Frank Slootweg tried, that some headers can't be obfuscated.

The point is simple.
I know a lot. A lot more than almost all of you know.
But still, I know nothing. I'm just average.

So guys like Paul know a **** load more than I do.
But most of you only know what I knew twenty five year ago.

The simple fact is that a thread I bother to write asks a tough question,
and telling me that NotePad++ is an editor isn't gonna help anyone but a
pure noob.

In this thread, the question is simple:
How do we get rid of that second 50 of the Microsoft stuff
(some of which is critical but much of which is not)

I wouldn't ask the question if the answer was known to most of you.
Because I know more than most of you - but - some of you know more than I.

I'm hoping that those rare people who know more than I do,
can answer the question.

HINT: It's not gonna be any of the trolls because none of them are smart.
