Default Outlook Express gone!!

Go to StartRun and in the Open box type 'sfc /scannow' without the quotes
and with a space before /.

sfc = system file checker and it restores and repairs system files.
If sfc ask for a Windows cd then cancel the program and return here for
further help.

Assuming the version of XP is Home, any XP Home cd will do so if someone has
one you can borrow it should work.

Here is a link to the Microsoft knowledgebase on how to repair Internet
Explorer and Outlook Express:

My mum has an OEM edition of XP on her PC, but no XP CD, just two Mirror
Image Recovery CD's. She has somehow managed to lose Outlook Express from
"Add/Remove Windows Components" If she had XP CD, I would tell her to run
setup.exe and it would re-install, but she hasn't. How can she overcome
this problem. She still has internet access, so can download a fix if
required.
