I remember, about 15 years ago, my cousin had a Mercedes (an A150 or

I had a Nissan Primera stationwagon.
One day I visited him and he asked me if he could try my Nissan.
After the "test", he said that he preferred the Nissan (and not his
Mercedes). I did not drive with the Mercedes, but anyway : I was
surprised...

I hate to post this here, since it has nothing to do with Windows 8,
so I'll be as brief as possible.

Beside price, cars differ from each other in many different ways:
looks, comfort, luxury, features, top speed, acceleration, braking,
ease of driving, noise level, reliability, ability to avoid crashes,
ability to stay alive if you crash, etc.

We prefer one to another based on which of those are most important to
us, and like cars, people are also different from each other. So your
cousin may have thought your Nissan was better than his Mercedes, but
that doesn't mean that we all would have the same preference.

I don't know either of the cars you're talking about, but my guess is
that *I* would prefer the Mercedes.
