This happens when I try to delete a folder sometimes. I just opened
the folder to see what was in it. I had moved the file out of the
directory a couple of days ago. The directory had two jpg files in it
that I did not move or care to keep.

The only file in the directory is the thumbnail

try deleting the folder in 'safe mode.'
