I know this site isn't for TV's, stereo's etc. and
this is way off topic but I need some advice and I
respect your opinion.

Here's what happened,.. the Sony DVD player finally
arrived and I hooked it up to the LG TV via HDMI and
L/R phono hookups and nothing. I cannot get the TV
to switch over to the DVD player or show any menu's.

So what's going on? I have to use one remote to
turn on the LG TV and the Sony remote for the DVD
player but I can't get anything on the TV, just snow.

Could there be a incapability between the player and
the TV and/or remotes?
