That's a rather sweeping statement. Depends on how you use your
computer, if you have more than one user profile and/or use it for real
work with sensitive information...logon/lock is required for my business.

I see nothing wrong with his statement. The obnoxious lock
screen only serves for aesthetics. It is a marketing thing.
"Oh Look! We are a combination tables/phone/workstation OS!"
I still disagree, but then again security on Windows has always be a
joke in my opinion...
