Default XP Pro FAX

but your objective was to "evaluate the fax program" and that is
achieved. Why you have so many copies of the system and their way of
interacting is yet another problem. (solve it by getting back to 1 system).

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

No, I think not, Rob. The inability to energize FAX
was on a one-system basic machine. My trying to get
FAX moved over from a 'good' machine to the 'bad' one
is a new wrinkle which Sharon says can't be done.
As I indicated, I'll evaluate it on the machine
where it is operative.

No, as far as I know, there isn't a way. Fax services is a system
component. This is quite different than a separate stand-alone
application
that could be shuttled around.

Thanks, Sharon. You can see that it's a separate subject. Since
I obviously decided that I wanted to evaluate it (or I wouldn't
have spent a week on it), I can do so by running it on the system
that works.
