Every time I boot my computer Adobe Reader DC starts and I haven't
figure out how to keep it from starting. Then I get the following
error messages.
(1) Adobe Acrobat
Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server
(2) "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open'TP-LINK Wireless
Configuration
Utility.lnk.disabled" because it is either not a supported file type
or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an
email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)."
(3) "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open' Install LastPass IE
RunOnce.lnk disabled' because it is either not a supported file type
or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an
email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
(4) "Adobe Acrobat Reader could
notopen'PaperCutViews.lnk.disabled'because it is either not a
supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example,
it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
Once I get the error messages cleared Acrobat seems to work just fine
All help would be gratefully appreciated
thank you
Sounds like you've got it configured to start when Windows starts. In that case
it's trying to 'call home' BEFORE your Internet Connection gets established.
Change that in Settings (or Preferences?, or whatever?)!
