well, excuse my lack of precision.
I'm trying to.
I have Classic Shell installed over Win 8.
My question is: can I uninstall (using Revo or whatever)
Classic Shell and get back to what I had before I installed
Classic Shell, with out messing up Win 8.
Classic Shell has its own uninstaller. There's no need to use anything
else. Why would you even consider using a third-party uninstaller
without trying that first?
Becuase removing programs in control panel almost always leaves a bun ch
of registry entries behind
I use either Revo Pro (for the 30day free trial) or 'Geek' or 'IOBit
Uninstaller, "That's the power of Pine Sol Baby.."
It is frequently "pointed out" here & in other Windows NGs that orphan
entries in the registry are harmless.
I use the quotes because, although I believe those claims, proof is not
offered.
BTW, I also use Revo and occasionally other uninstallers in order to get
rid of left-over directories and registry times.
