Default Maximize Windows Explorer

How interesting. The window size for Windows Explorer on my copy of
Windows XP has no relationship to the size of the last Internet Explorer
window. And I can't recall any such relationship between Windows
Explorer and Internet Explorer in all the years I've been using them.

I'm talking about Windows Explorer, whose behavior is inexplicably tied
in with Internet Explorer. I understand your confusion, because this
seems utterly illogical to me, but that's how it seems to work. The
suggestion regarding the shift key didn't work for me, but this does.
However Internet Explorer looked, with regard to window size, when it
was closed, that's how Windows Explorer will look when it is next
opened.
