Default error check and windows restore

ok

I set the error check but it fails suggesting a windows restore first :/

I think I'll format the ****...

Boot your Windows Installer DVD and use the Command Prompt
there to run CHKDSK. Since the C: drive can easily be
dismounted by the software when using the Installer DVD
command prompt, you should not have a problem doing
chkdsk /f C: or whatever.

When you use the Command Prompt on the installer DVD,
it comes up running off X: , a RAMDisk. But you still
have to verify the other drive letters. List C:
with the dir command, and see if familiar items
are present. If it looks like C: , then you can
run your CHKDSK command.
