Are you saying that the 780 doesn't
recognize the HD?
I also had noticed this error on more
than one file from the 750GB backups,..
so could it of been a problem with the
750HD?
Is this also why it showed nothing on
the info/health tabs on the HDTune scan?

No, SMART failure is a different problem.
You currently only have the 2TB drive within
view of HDTune, so the SMART should be working.
If you're not using the "1-7-18 Win7 Pro Mrimg backup.xml"
file, you could always choose to delete it. I
don't really know how many of your XML files
have errors, but presumably the file you
use to run backups right now is fresh and
correct.

The Windows "diskpart" command can give the
DiskID from the MBR. It was in my picture.
(admin command prompt)
diskpart
list disk
select disk 1
detail disk
exit
That should report the DiskID for disk 1.
You can "select disk 2" if there is a second
disk, then do "detail disk" to get the details
of the second disk drive.
I got a lesson about DiskID only in the
last couple weeks, when I overwrote one
while "fixing" a boot problem. And the
boot was still broken - and then I knew
I was ignorant about the MBR layout and
had to go research it. When I fix the boot
code on an MBR now, I limit the command
to 440 bytes instead of 446. The details
I needed, were in Wikipedia for MBR.
