Default computer freeze

Thanks very much Gerry you have been a great help.
Can I purchase more memory on the internet, or is this something that needs
to be installed? (sorry not a techie!)

1 more thing you might be able to help me with is, when i log on my Lap-top
takes about 4-5mins to start.

The windows installer Box pops up and says 'preparing to install', this is
what takes ages, not sure what it's installing? it used to say coping pgs to
pgs (or somthing like that) but that box doesn't come up any more just the
loading box?

Kindest

You have insufficient memory. You really need 512 mb. Your system is
using the pagefile quite a bit.

Your machine would be better without Norton Internet Security. I would
replace it with:

AVG 7.5 Freeware for anti-virus
http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

and

Windows Defender (also free) for anti-spyware
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...en&mg_id=10134

Hope this helps.
