Default PS/2 mice pause in 32-bit Windows XP Pro. SP3 (safe mode too) and 7 PE liveCD...

Well, my motherboard shows a keyboard logo on that PS/2 port. Are you
saying connecting a PS/2 splitter for a mouse and keyboard would work
and fix the mouse pauses?


I am saying sometimes the single PS/2 could handle both. And I would try
a PS/2 mouse in the port to see if that works. If it does, I would buy a
Y cable. As I believe there is a good chance that it would work. And
yes, I would think it would solve your problem too.
