P.S. There's a small MS download available so XP pc's show up in Win7's
"Network Map" display.
Sorry now idea where I found it but it was from MS directly. I keep a
copy of it. It's a small exe (600Kb) named "350011_ENU_i386". It adds
some protocol to XP so it's visible in Network Map. Not convenient to
look at what that was as only pc I have runs XP anymore is old semi-
retired laptop but it's likely the "Link Layer" stuff.
The file I have

"Windows XP SP3 is supposed to fix this, but apparently it doesn't."
Since archive.org is offline at the moment (fiber to it was cut),
I can't check whether this is captured or not. Microsoft itself
won't be serving this any more, but archive.org is likely
to have a copy (perhaps later today it'll be back up).
