Good News!

I don't know exactly what happened but I
shut the power off to listen for the beeps
and when I powered it up the 780 came up
normally!

I've had the power supply on/off maybe 2-3
times since I had the problem but this time
it worked! weird,.....

So it was my connection! Jeeeeeez
