Hello All,

I'm using Outlook Express 6 for my newsgroup browsing, and have
arrived at a point where I would like to be able to suppress
(hide/delete) a certain thread, meaning a certain post and all
future replies to it.

OE 6 is able to block senders, but that does not extend to responses
to such messages.

I can also put a "you don't want to read this" marker on messages
(which does extend to replies made to it) but alas, those are *very*
visible (actually having the opposite effect :-) ).

Does anyone have an idea how to do it ?

Here is a method given by someone who responded to a similar post some
time ago:

With OE open: Edit | Find | Message | in Subject, type
or paste the subject of the offending message | Find now
| In lower pane, right-click on the message line | Move
to Folder | Deleted Items (under Local Folders).
