How can I get the newest features of Firefox?

If you want to keep your Firefox up to date, with all the latest
features and updates, you'll need to upgrade your computer's operating
system.

Which is why I downgraded to an earlier, less bloated version of
Firefox, that runs faster. I really don't want all the latest features
and updates, which made it fun painfully slowly.

Yes, slow fun is no fun (in software, anyway - some kinds of fun are
nicer slow!).

I agree, older versions run better, especially on older hardware.

Firefox 2 (.0.0.20, IIRR) - last that will run on '98. (I think Kernelex
will allow up to 3 or 4; I haven't tried.)
Around Firefox 28 - last before the Australis user interface.
Firefox 57 - last that will run the old sort of extensions.
Firefox 58 - last that will run on XP.
(I may have those last two the wrong way round.)
They're on version sixtysomething now.

I - even on W7 - run version 27. (Incidentally, the version of
DownloadHelper I have to run with that still seems to work with most
sites, including YouTube.) [I use Chrome for the sites that won't work
properly in F27.]

So, you guys don't care for security, privacy, etc.?
