Walt Kelly* died over 45 y ago, but his daughter Carolyn, who
contributed a great deal to the ongoing pub/s of the many Pogo books
before and after his death, died just 2 y ago. Another cartoonist/
animator/ blogger who had a 20 y relationship w/ Carolyn wrote an obit*.

In 2011, the 1st vol (to be a 12 vol set) of The Complete Syndicated
Comic Strips of Pogo from 1949-1973 was released. As of 2019, the vol/s
are up to 6. Fantagraphics Books pub.
