Mass media is a term used to denote a section of the media
specifically envisioned and designed to reach a very large
audience such as the population of a nation state.

There you go, the INTERNET doesn't have any content, it's the
servers that are on the "Internet".

Definition: Internet: a computer network consisting of a worldwide
network of computer networks that use the TCP/IP network protocols
to facilitate data transmission ...

The internet is the transport of MEDIA, but the internet is NOT
MEDIA.

Try this - remove all servers from connection to the internet,
what media do you have then?

You are a total moron. The Internet is media no matter how stupid
you choose to remain.

Your ignorance is astounding.

What does this mean?

"These Internet media may include:"

a.. Television
b.. Personal web pages
c.. Message boards
d.. Podcasts
e.. Blogs
f.. Video hosting services

And well it may, but it is media hosted on SERVERS, not on the
"Internet". The internet is the method to get to the MEDIA hosted on
Servers.

Without the servers hosting the MEDIA there none of that media would
exist, but the Internet would still be there.

Media is a network which includes TV, Newspapers, Personal web
pages and so on. You claimed TV was not media but you are wrong. The
Internet is included in this network. The contents on a server is
media along with every part that supports it. You will never admit
you are wrong young man. This is clear to see by now.

No, you're wrong and don't seem to GRASP the SIMPLE.

A TV (the box) is NOT media, neither are the air-waves, nor the
transmitters.

The MEDIA is the information stored on Film/Computer/Disk/Etc that is
sent/provided over the BOX.

The supporting hardware is NOT MEDIA, it's a network.

Media IS a network. You don't seem to grasp that aspect. Again you fail. I
ask again. What if someone said they "work for the media". What would you
say to them?

I would correct them and say, "You work for a media provider, you don't
work for the 'Media'".

The media includes many things as simple as a pad of paper and
pencil. A note book and even a broadcast of words by a person is media. A TV
and the Internet are a part of the media therefor ARE media within
themselves.

Wrong, the TV is not media, it can not contain or host media. Is is a
Window to show MEDIA. The internet is a path to reach media, it is not
media itself.

The supporting hardware as you put it are all a part of a
network of media like the person that works for the media.

The person that works for a media outlet company is not the media, they
are part of the machine that generates media, but they are not media.
The same is true for the "Internet", it is how you reach the media, but
it does not take on any part of the media.

How do you explain Air - the media is broadcast through the air and
shown on your television - does that make Air media while I view
television? Nope.
