I've never had a problem with more than one mouse. Never tried making one have the buttons the other way round though. Why don't you just persuade the left handed freak to fit into normal society?

Also, it's easier with two mice 'cause simple people can't program the
mouse software and are always screwing it up.

Remember William of Occam, who proposed the simplest solution might be
tried first.
