My computer is set so that the screensshut down after 20 minutes and
the computer goes to sleep after 30 minutes. Password is required when
woken up by mouse or keyboard input.

This has ceased to happen ever since my update with version 1 of 1809.
My computer and screens continue to run no matter how long I leave it
abandoned. This doesn't seem to be a unique problem but Google seems
to only find advice which doesn't apply to my Settings menu system.

My Power Management settings a
"High Performance" selected.
Screen OFF after 20 minutes
SLEEP after 30 minutes.

What am I missing?
