Default Unlimited hardware changes if Windows key is uninstalled first?

You don't uninstall Windows product key. You just go ahead and make
changes and first try to activate it online. If it fails, you need to
use the phone method and explain to the operator what you have done and
99% of the time they will activate your machine. The 1% is for people
who demands and becomes rude when talking to fellow human being. These
people don't deserve any help IMHO. They first need to learn social
skills of talking to fellow human being.
