FYI. The current version of Paint can output various flavors of .bmp
plus .jpg, .png, and .tiff. I don't know about .tiff, but .jpg has
been supported for a long time... at least back to Win7 and probably
XP.


I think .tiff was supported in Win 3.1, and .jpg and .gif

The advantage of .tiff is that it isn't "lossy", but that doesn't
matter when all you are doing is screen capture.
