Hmm...the op mentioned that the dll wasn't found. If I may ask, how
would CCleaner find and clean a dll that was no longer present ?


It's not the DLL that CCleaner would find, but rather, the references to
it in the registry.

However, if you understand what you're doing, you should search and make
the changes yourself with regedit.exe. If not, you couldn't do it via
regedit or CCleaner either because there can be unexpected consequences
to modifying the registry in ways you don't understand.
