If that's a notificatio, I do get a small blue borderless window that
slides into view int he bottom right, and a loud sound, when I plug in
phone.

What's interesting is that the sound is louder than any other sound I
have, or at least it's at or near maximum even when the volume is set
lower. I'd be willing to forego this sound, I thing, but it's only once
a day.


I think the Windows sound for unplugging a USB device makes the computer sound disappointed.


Yes, I think that's what they were trying to make it sound like.
