Default Do I need For Dummies?

Sorry if this could have been a follow-up in my original post.

I am completely comfortable using Windows 7. My new system, which should be done
next week, will have Windows 8.1 loaded on it. my previous post had several
replies on how to set up Windows 8.1 to appear as though it's Windows 7, booting
to desktop and all.

My question is, if I'm comfortable using Windows 7, as I've been doing for five
years, do I need a book like Windows For Dummies once I start booting to
desktop, or should I be good to go, imagining I'm using Widnows 7. Thanks.

With the modification I suggested, Windows 8.1 is no more than an
evolutionary change to XP, and 7. If you could get what you want from
7 or XP you will be quite at home with Windows 8.1. Like a new house
the floor plan is a little different but the light switchs and the
plumbing work the same as it has since Window 3
