I am actually running Office 2007 on my Windows 7 laptop, while I am
running Office 2016 on my Windows 10 desktop. There is remarkably little
difference in functionality between the two of them, it's more like
they've just rearranged the furniture (the "office furniture" ;-) ). The
only new feature I can tell is that the macro scripting language has
been updated with newer functions, and that's all. All previous file
formats have been left completely untouched and it's easy to exchange
files between the two versions without any conversions needed, even when
going back to the earlier versions of Office.
