Default OFF Topic - Walmart order

Got confirmation this morning my new "Christmas present for wife" TV was
just shipped. Three days after placing online order with delivery date
now the 22nd rather than the 19th site stated it would be. Given that's
Friday and I'm rural area I suspect tv will not be here for Christmas
morning.

On top of that tv's description online does not mimic Sanyo's own
website. Specifically Walmart states TV has a VGA Input yet Sanyo states
nothing and pics show no such connection (should have checked before
hand but trusted Walmart's description it's so plainly stated).

I'm really ****ed that a company can mislead you in such a manner yet
still end up with you vulnerable to them. Specifically they now have my
credit card info and I have no means to compell them to delete it!!!

I'm wondering what kind of issues I'm going to have while having fun
demanding they compensate me for my time and effort because of their
deceptions when I take the item back.

Argh!!!

If your Wallyworld is anything like the ones around here, good luck with any
kind of compensation or satisfaction. You're just one little ****-ant in
their great colony of Wallydrones, and they could surely care less if you
come back to shop there or not. Bringing something back to them is enough to
give anyone an attitude. It starts when you get in line and watch the DMV
rejects behind the counter try to figure out what they owe you, and how to
give it to you once they HAVE figured it out :-(
I've just about given up shopping there except for about once a month for
paper goods and certain groceries (the lower priced items than the ones I
can get at my grocery store).

I wish you luck. Let us know how it goes. If you want to vent, we are here
for you :-)
