But you needn't worry: what's in "Recent" isn't a copy of the document,
only a shortcut to it, which is only a few hundred bytes in size. You'll
find these shortcuts in C:\Documents and Settings\me\My Recent Documents
(which on here is a half-hidden folder - it appears in the right pane
but not the left). You can delete them if you wish; not a bad idea to
delete all but a few, since Recent only shows the x most recent anyway.
(I'm not sure what x is; I think it can be amended.) When you save a
file from many (possibly all) applications, a new "Recent" shortcut is
created anyway. They're actually useful in that they go direct to
documents you've recently been working on, however deep in the directory
(folder) tree you put them.
