Usually the USB ports in front are/were an optional installaion.With the
owners manual & the USB socket for the rear ports,check the wiring
configuration,it must be exact..Also,with some MBs,what looks like a USB
socket,isnt,even though it has the right amount of terminals for USB.Again,
refer to the owners manual.

The USB ports(2) in the front have problems. The same camera, printer,
phone, flash drive, etc that is plugged into the REAR ports have an error
message when plugged into the FRONT 2 Ports.

The USB ports (5) in the rear work perfect.
