My HP Windows 7 Desktop goes to sleep due to system idle. I have set

How can I keep the system awake?

And I found there is an option in Powercfg
powercfg /sleepstudy
Even though the description is a bit terse. I selected
Sleep from a system menu, and it listed the source
of the sleep request as "Application API". On purpose,
I used the Power Button on the front of the machine,
and the report does put the "Power Button" as the
reason for wakeup. That was to help me verify
I was on the correct line in the report.
