Let me know if it continues to work. I thought that was one of the causes we

I uninstalled McAfee's Privacy Service today as well as removing and
reinstalling "fax services" from the "add/remove components" in the control
panel (this I have done twice before to no avail as to getting the fax
monitor to work).
In any event, lo & behold, my fax monitor is working today! I don't know
if removing Privacy Service or reinstalling fax services rectified this
problem.
I'm almost afraid to turn off my computer tonight for fear that the fax
monitor won't work again when I start my computer tomorrow.
I just wanted to keep you updated on this recent turn of events.
