I have connected a canon bubblejet BJC-1000 to my packard bell pc with
windows XP and set it as a default printer. it used to work woth my other
computer.
the pc recognizes the printer.
it won't print any print test pages, e-mails, word docs or pdf files.
after a long time loading the printer status says: error printing.
I consulted the troubleshooter under Help but none of the suggestions worked.
the command prompt doesnt work. neither does restarting or shutting down.
I plugged it out and with the next print job the printer status says: out of
paper.
The port is LTP1 but I also tried all the other ports or even all at the
same time.
Now it's set back to only LTP1.
Although the printer has no on/off light, I am quite certain the printer is
on.
Any suggestions?
