That sequence is how I start Windows Update, and it still
works. I have XP Professional, but I don't think that should
make a difference.



By other routes I get to Windows Update, but, as mentioned in other
responses, the screen utilization in selecting downloads is about as bad
as it can get. I think the message they're trying to get across is that
people should just let them download anything and everything, and trust
Big Brother.
