Default What does my wi-fi log mean.

As I posted, I got a wifi receiver for my desktop PC, do I could use the
cell phone as a hotspot/internet source, and you folks helped me with
the software, and it seemed to work, but the DSL was also working so it
wasn't a very good test.

This morning the DSL wasn't working, so I tested again, didn't try to do
too much, and it seemed to be working but maybe that was the DSL so I
turned off the DSL modem, and nothing was working after all.

This is the log of the wifi-receiver. It looks pretty good to me.
I thought what I had done was get a couple webpages, check my email once
and dl 2 of them, check 3 newsgroups and dl 2 headers. Are the numbers
below too low for that. Maybe it was working and it stopped.

BTW, which is transmitting - uploading from the PC to the phone to then
Net?

Transmit
Transmitted succesfully 8515
Retransmitted successfully 46
Fail to receive ACK after all replies 0

Receive
Received Successfully 4654
Received with CRC Error 9031 **
Dropped due to out of resource 0
Duplicate frames received 0

The icon in the sstray gives 3 choices
Launch config utility -- This is what I use.
Switch to AP mode
Swtich to Client - AP mode.

Which one of the second two do i want?

**So what does it mean when the CRC errors outnumber the successful
packets? In this case that many packets had errors more than once??
But all total, I got 4654 packets.

Why are theere so many errors? The phone was only 8 inches from the PC
and its receiver.

TIA
