Sorry I transposed the letters...it's been a long day...they are .wmv
(windows media video) files and they import perfectly and play in Movie
Maker, for the most part, perfectly, except that some, as I said earlier,
pause for no reason. The software you mention will help with converting
the
.mov files into .wmv or .avi (preferrably .wmv because they are compressed
and much smaller) and will save me much time from converting them at
media-convert.com, however, I still have the problem of Movie Maker's
error
message when trying to save the edited .wmv files. As mentioned in the
previous post, even splitting them doesn't help. The error continually
says
not enough space in the directory I'm trying to save in (which is my
desktop
or videos folder and my drive has 30gb free space on it)...as well as the
files are not found (except that they are not lost...no red X's) and play
on
the timeline just fine.

I just thought, it maybe the location for temporary storage that is causing
the error message?
Open WMM
Click Tools/Options/General Tab
Click "Restore All Defaults" button
Close dialog, close and reopen WMM and now try.
