Default how to find other computers connected to the same router

Ok, let try this:

01. Control Panel / [Network and Internet Connections] / Network
Connections.
02. Right-click Local Area Connection and press Properties.
03. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and press Properties.
04. On the General tab, press Advanced.
05. On the WINS tab, check Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP and press OK.
06. Press OK and Close.
07. Right-click My Computer and press Manage.
08. Expand Services and Applications.
09. If the Computer Browser service is NOT started, right-click Computer
Browser and press Start. Right-click Computer Browser and press Properties.
Set Startup type to Automatic and press Apply and OK.

Have you tried looking in the Event Viewer on any of your computers to

see
if an error id has been generated?

In the Local Area Connection properities, you should see a box that
states,
"This connection uses the following items..." You should see "File

and
Print
Sharing for Microsoft Networks" checked.

Michael, thank for your advise. Done, reset the button.
Also reset the router software too. Still unable to share

files
and
printer.

Sorry, I know you addressed Doug but I have a question about

your
router.
An
MR814v2 is a wireless router. I see that your connected via
ethernet
cables,
is that correct? Also, you might want to try and reset the

router.
There
should be a very small reset button on the back.
