I am running Win XP Pro Sp3.
I would be interested in any feedback from users of Malware Defender.
I am currently evaluating it.
See hxxp://www. 2-viruses.com/remove-malware-defender-2009
which begins by saying "Malware defender 2009 is a rogue spyware
application ..."
It should also be noted that web site is an Enigma affiliate whose sole
pupose is for the infected reader to use Enigma's SpyHunter through them
for
affiliate revenue. But Malware Defender, Strong Malware Defender and
variants are scareware Rogues and are not real anti malware utilities.
Andy
needs to look at traditional anti malware software and learn the
difference
so he doesn't fall for their malicious ploys.

What did you base this on ? "are scareware Rogues."
Malware Defender has alerted me to many programs attempting to call home.
As well as programs that try to get in the "Startup Line" without asking?
I don't like programs that "go into my fridge without asking".
I've been studying malware for more than 20 years, wrote the Multi-AV
Scanning Tool which is a frnt-end to multiple command line scanners and I am
a former employee of MalwareBytes which produces the legitimate MalwareBytes
Anti Malware (MBAM) application. Thus I have some knowledge in the malware
arena.
What is the home page/URL of the "Malware Defender" you are using ?
