It would be interesting to know the general location of people who can't
connect to their weather feedback. I'm in the Atlanta, GA area, which
is working presently.

Virginia Beach, VA here. Gadget stopped working around January 30
("Cannot connect to service") and hasn't come back since. Gave up
messing with it and now use Weather Meter.

It's OK but the display can get cluttered if you configure it to show
too much data. I may look into other weather gadgets to see if I can
find one I like better than Weather Meter.

It'd be interesting to see what happens if one or more of you for whom the
weather gadget has quit working would try the solution he

Ignore the first response from the guy who says MS disabled all gadgets. He
obviously doesn't know what he's talking about, but at least 25 people
indicate that they got their gadgets working again by following the steps in
the second reply, the one from "sting251" who starts off with, "I do not
typically post on any type of forums".

Since my gadgets are still working fine, I'll assume it's good enough to
simply make a copy of the files he mentions and store them for the day when
the gadgets quit working.
