Default Windows XP Home will not boot

This app will locate the unneeded startup command, and have a checkbox to
uncheck for removing it.

Sorry, the name of the file is basegutc32
Error message reads:
Stop: c0000135 (unable to locate component)
The application failed to start because basegutc32 was not found.

Thanks,

Can someone help me with this problem? I'm getting an error that
basecatw32 is missing on boot after the Windows logo scrolls across. I've
searched for this file but I can find no information on what application
this file is associated with.

Thanks,
