Find and delete 'common administrative tools' in the right pane & restart
windows

I´m having some problems with Windows XP on a single machine at work.

Previously, whenever I tried to use a resource provided by the network,
Windows XP would ask for login and password. On this particular machine,

doesn´t ask this information and every time I turn on the machine, some
profile is attached to it. So users can´t access their files based on

own privileges.

I thought that maybe, to solve this problem, I should go to Administrative
Tools but the icons that should be showing within Administrative Tools
aren´t shown.

BTW, the user logged to XP has administrative privileges in case somebody
can suppose the problem is happening due to the type of user.

Can anybody help me out?
