Those who arrange for loopholes to be opened up for them by "the best
legislature that money can buy" increase the tax burden on the rest of
us. Public goods cost money. Of course everyone pays sales taxes, excise
taxes, etc, but income tax is still the fairest way to tax people. If
you get a lot from the community, you owe a lot to that community. Why?
Because without them you'd get nothing at all.

The fact that Apple is extremely successful DECREASES the tax burden on
everyone else in the country.

But just like everyone else, they are free to organize their affairs to
minimize the taxes they have to pay.
