Try renaming wuauserv DLL in Win10 C: from Linux.
If you get "I/O Error", don't panic. (At least one
person incorrectly concluded his OS was fubar,
and did a reinstall after seeing the message.
It really isn't "I/O Error", it's
"Operation not supported".)
