I'm using v. 2.5.24, which has no ads. There is a button
in the top corner to download some other program the
company makes, but it's just a small ad, out of the way,
for their own product. And there's a "search bar" that
provides links to search engines. I just delete all those
and disable online search in the settings.

I put it in my installation log.

I'll stick with the version I have for now as almost nothing is ever gained
most of the time by updating freeware that was once pretty good.

So I'll stick with 1.7.1 unless someone knows that it handles PostScript
better.
