Default SP2 Behavior ...

I do not NOW have....is that better?

I thought it should have been obvious from my comments that I DID have it at
one time, but reading comprehension seems to be at a minimum in these
newsgroups.

I personally did not have any "problems" with SP2 I just had to disable
most of its "features" it serves no useful function to me or my clients,
which by the way are approaching 4 MILLION machine hours virus, spyware and
hacker free!!!

Then your system most likely has a problem and will possibly have more
problems related to unsafe computing.
Most users need Service Pack 2 because most users are interested in
protecting their computer.

Also you contradict yourself:
"I do not have and never will have SP2 installed."
With that statement you are not qualified to make any judgments
against something you have not and will never use.

"I have Beats tested SP2 for several months for several of my
clients."
Unless you are saying testing is not using.
