Default Install Excl 2003?

LibreOffice Portable will handle most of that old Excel stuff.
And you can just delete the folder after you're done.

Last one to work with XP:

120MB download, 400MB installed. Don't forget to "delete extra
languages" on install, unless you need them.

You will probably need to update M$ runtimes. Google whatever
it says is missing (can't remember offhand, but for me it was just one
file).

Libre Office flavor/version of Excel does not do half of what Excel
2003 does.
And that is when ignoring the macro "facility".
