I do have a backup drive for the 780 but I want to
buy 2 more HD's since you said they are becoming
hard to find and I want to be prepared just in case
while I can still get them.

I want to make another backup HD for the 780 and
then have a second for either the 8500 or 780 which
is why I asked the question could I put both.
