Default Youtube videos audio but not video

Hi Paul,

I live in Korea (I don't have any network filters) and run the Turkish version of Windows XP Professional on a virtual machine.

I tried repairing the connection but to no avail. Other Google sites such as Blogger, Google Drive, Google Translate and Gmail works fine.

I actually need to get YouTube and Google Docs working on the virtua machine.

The example age restricted video I provided is called Destroying Windows XP, uploaded by the user RHochstenbach back in 2007. I would post this to the best computer guy ever: Jack Stavris aka IBMThinkPadR51. Check his channel in YouTube [1].

Turkey requests blocks using court orders.

It's possible Youtube checked your "language" setting
and without using geolocation, decided to block you.

Using your virtual machine technology, you can install
a copy of Windows XP for some other locale, and use it
temporarily for 30 days. Using that, you can check to
see whether Youtube is still blocked or not.
