OK, can you run through the problem from the start, answering these Q's as
well.
You captured dv-avi files from your camcorder?
These when imported into WMM played fine?
You did something to the pc?
The files stopped playing in WMM?
The files still play in WMP?
Do you know when they stopped playing in WMM?
Can you recall what you may have changed on the pc when this happened?
Can you use system restore to go back to a point before this happened?

that the Rendering was successful and that DirectShow claims to be able to
play the file. I continue to be baffeled by this problem since theses AVI
and WMV files were able to played in WMM before. I suspect that something
may have occured to damage my WMM. Can WMM be some how installed
seperately?
